Alien Ship is fully integrated with Bootstrap. Bootstrap is a simple and flexible HTML, CSS, and Javascript toolkit from Twitter. It’s a proven and solid toolkit with a lot of useful features, and they’re all right here in the Alien Ship theme.

Alien Ship is built on the Bootstrap 12-column responsive grid, featuring both fixed and fluid layouts.

Duh. Alien Ship features a responsive design which looks good and scales according to screen resolution, providing a full-featured and consistent experience across a range of devices. Resize your browser window to see it in action.

Alien Ship has a feature called Featured Posts, which is a good way to highlight your important content. It allows you to feature you content in an image slider using Bootstrap Carousel, and it also allows you to feature posts in a block grid.

Support for a header image on all your pages. You can choose to have a single static image, or rotating images. Also, if a post or page has a featured image that’s large enough, it will always be displayed at the top of that page.

Alien Ship has three menus – Top, Main, and Bottom – and they are all responsive. Dropdowns work on click/touch instead of mouse hover, and menu elements adjust to touch-friendly sizes on mobile devices, providing a great experience on touch screen devices.

The theme includes three page templates: default with sidebar, full-width with no sidebar, and the Hero landing page template.

Alien Ship has shortcode support for alerts, badges, buttons, featured posts slider, labels, login form, panels, and wells.
