Search Control is a plugin that lets you exclude pages, posts, and custom post types from WordPress search results. It’s very easy to use. Just check a checkbox and you’re done!
How it works
Search Control uses a custom taxonomy for determining if content should be excluded from search results. This means when someone uses the search box on your site, these pages will not show in the results. When you set a page to be excluded from search results, it is assigned to this taxonomy. If you later remove the exclusion, the page will no longer be assigned to the exclusion taxonomy. This is very fast and efficient, and it works well on sites both small and large. It adds virtually zero overhead to your site, and will work great on even the most restrictive budget web hosts.
